Word Play

Thanks for your interest in Word Play.

If you have a bug to report, please provide as much information as possible as this will help me diagnose the issue and provide a fix. For example:

• Which platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Steamdeck)
• What mode were you playing
• What modifiers do you have
• What were you doing before the problem occurred

Known Issues

• Diamond Tiles do not carry over their charge when they are locked / unlocked. This will be addressed in a future patch.
• Wildcards don’t always take the letter you desire. (For instance, QU**NS may spell QUEANS instead of QUEENS). This is by design, but I will try to improve the messaging and – potentially – their behaviour.
• Not every word is in the dictionary! You can use the in-game petition feature if you feel it should be. You can’t petition when using certain tiles (such as mirror and wildcard tiles).

Things You Can Try

• If you’re having control issues, please try unplugging other devices such as controllers, bluetooth devices, flight sticks, etc.

• If your problem is not solved and you have less than 2 hours play time with the game, please contact Steam for a full refund.
