GMTK Game Jam

GMTK Game Jam

GMTK Game Jam is an annual game-making event, where thousands of developers get together to make a game in just one weekend.

Thousands of games are submitted as designers improve their skills, flex their creative muscles, and try to get their game featured on Game Maker’s Toolkit.

GMTK Game Jam 2024

GMTK Game Jam will return in 2024. The date has not been announced yet – it will be revealed in a video on the GMTK YouTube channel.

You can register your interest for the jam here, to receive an email when the date is announced.

Game Jam Rules

Full rules and details can be found on the Itch.io page for the current jam. As the jam is not currently running, please check out the rules for 2023’s event – though note that rules and details are subject to change from year to year.
